KW:  Syva Labs was a collaboration between Syntex and Varian to develop
spin resonance assays for clinical diagnosis, especially monitoring of
drug abuse and excretion.  I played absolutely no part in it. I expect
carl Djerassi and Harden McConnell were the principals.;
