Increased Rate of Metabolism of Epinephrine and Norepinephrine by Sympathomimetic Amines
Description:
Reporting on research that had implications for understanding the absorption rates of an entire class of drugs, Axelrod found in this article that epinephrine disappears more rapidly from the body than norepinephrine and that certain sympathetic amines markedly increased the rate of disappearance of epinephrine and norepinephrine in mice.
