Purification and Partial Characterization of Human Lymphoblastoid Interferon
Description:
This study was a milestone for Anfinsen's lab, as it was one of the first HuIFN-alphas purified to homogeneity. By instructing personnel at the Frederick Cancer Research Center in their technique, Anfinsen's research team was able to obtain enough interferon to develop a purification scheme that eventually resulted in a homogeneous human lymphoblastoid interferon.
