Description:
In this letter, the Chair of Cornell University's "Professors At-Large Program" expressed a desire that McClintock maintain her professional relationship with the program in light of recent racial troubles and much publicized student activism at the institution. Included is a three-page account of "what really happened" at the university, including student actions and the administration's responses, which were part of widespread political unrest on university campuses during the late 1960s and early 1970s.
