Skipper, director of the Ketterin-Meyer [sic] Laboratory and president of the Southern Research Institute, Birmingham, Alabama; Dr. Ludwik Gross, senior medical investigator and chief of cancer research unit at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Bronx, N.Y.; Dr. Sol Spiegelman, director of the Institute of Cancer Research, College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University, New York, N.Y.; Mrs. Alice Fordyce, vice president of the Foundation, and Benno Schmidt, Chairman of the President's Cancer Panel. Skipper, Gross and Spiegelman were recipients of Lasker awards.
