Letter from Salvador E. Luria to the editor of The New York Times
Description:
In this letter to the editor, Luria complained about an article that indicated that support for American policy in Vietnam was widespread among the academic community in the United States. Noting that over 6000 professors had joined in criticizing the escalation of American military involvement in southeast Asia, Luria argued that it was unfortunate that the "protesting thousands fail to get the news coverage afforded to the vocally approving few."
