The Salvador E. Luria Papers

Title:
[Salvador Luria's laboratory notes (sample 3)] pdf (575,906 Bytes)
Description:
Shortly after Luria met Max Delbruck on New Year's Eve in 1940, they agreed to work together to address the question of how one phage could become hundreds of phages in a matter of minutes inside a bacterium. These are some of the notes Luria made on the phage experiments he conducted in early 1942. Many of the notations here correlate directly to findings Luria and Delbruck reported in the October and December 1942 issues of "Archives in Biochemistry."
Item is handwritten.
