The Salvador E. Luria Papers

Title:
[Salvador Luria's laboratory notes (sample 4)] pdf (1,332,829 Bytes)
Description:
Shortly after Luria met Max Delbruck on New Year's Eve in 1940, they agreed to work together to address the question of how one phage could become hundreds of phages in a matter of minutes inside a bacterium. These are some of the notes Luria made on the phage experiments he conducted over the first five months of 1943. These notes likely correlate to the findings Luria and Delbruck reported in their November 1943 article in "Genetics."
