     SUBJECT: Staff Assignments to HRP Implementation Work Groups


              Additional staff have been assigned to several of the work  groups.. They

              are  as follows.
                    Agency Selection - Larry Pullen and Tom Simonds (DKT); and
                    J. Robert Ullom (BHSR).  Mr. Simonds already is assisting in
                    monitoring certain, related TA contract activities.   Mr. Ullom
                    will represent the EHSDS branch and program.

                    Section 1122/Regulatory Activities    Ben Neufeld (DCHP) and
                    Mathew Spear (DIUT).  Mr. Neufeld will continue to serve on  the
                    Review and Approval Functions Work Group also, providing a "bridge"
                    between these two related  roups.  Mr. Spear it is recognized will

                    be able to devote only minimal time to this activity over the next
                    6-8 weeks because of his central involvement with certain RMP-related
                    arthritis activities.
              These assignments have been discussed and cleared with Mr. GardEill,
              Dr. Graning, and Dr. Rorrie.
