Dear Mary,

    The Flexnere gave a grand party yesterday at
the CoemopolBtan Club with Miss Skinner giving
Yonologuee.   She is Otis Skinners daughter, and
ie very attractive/ Everyone had a good time.
Afterward I wwent to dinner with the Row family.
Peyton Boue is a man who was in the Hookere class
in the medical school who has been at the Institute for
a long time.  He is one of the members and is a
very able man,  he is editor of the Journal of
Experimental Medicine so he read8 all of our
papera.

     This is the time of the staff luncheon and
I am all ready to go to it with my amber beads.
All the ecientific directors will be,here a&d it
ought to be very nice.

      Dr. Welsh is coming up Friday night and
we will go on to Vassar together in the evening. Then
Saturday afternoon we shall come back to New York and
she will stay in my apartment while I go on to
Baltimore end Washington. I shall take the
Midnight down to Baltimore have breakfast with
Dr. Sherwood and when go on out to the Hookers for
the dey..  Shall take an early morning train to
Washington.    I will send you may addrees in
Washington.   Return here on the night train
Wednesday all ready for work with our rabbits.
