THE ROCKEFELLER INSTITUTE FOR MEDICAL RESEARCH May 27, 1927. Dear Mary, Hope Carla and Carlita will stay wibh me. I have an army cot on which I will sleep in the kit- ehen and we will have a very jolly time. Am looking forward to June 3 with a lot of pleasure. I am only four or five blocks from Edward Sneldons but quite a distance from Mrs. Sheldons. Baan left this afternoon to get married. It is to be tomorrow and the service is to be out of doors. Just now it looks like a good hard rain. I hope that to-morrow will be clear for his sake. Doan and I went to the Murphys for dinner last ni&t. Had a cocktail and real ,charapaign so it was pretty festive. Monda;y is a holbday. I shall come over to see if our bunnies are all alive but shall not do any work. Am going to put in the time putting winter things away at home and clean out the closets, It will be all right to come on June 16 but I shall probably come a day earlier. Xi11 that give you time to get to Northhampton or have you given up the idea of going there. I shall tell the men in the elevators to let you in if you by any chance 6hould get here first but I shall plan6 to meet your train. In any case you have qy address, 151 East 80 and its hearer to the NYCentral than to the Pennsg. It will be fine to see you, With loee'%-e- -
