Dear Doctor:

     I am apoointine a committee of re-
presentative citizens of Colorado to assist
the Legislature, the elective State officials,
and this office in ?:orking out a orogress,ive
program for the post war era in Colorado. It
is my :xrpose to have every activity in the State
represented so that p'e may develop an over-all
picture of the thin gs we can do for the upbuilding
of Colorado following hostilities, as r&i as to
absorb into our civilian fabric the thousands of
service men and women who are now wearing the
uniform of our country.

     I would like to ask you to represent
the subject of HEALTH. It is my purpose to
have a general meetin;, of the committee as soon
as its personnel is completed so that it can meet
and work with the oncoming session of the Legislature.

     I very much hope you can see your way
clear to accept this appointment.
