Studies on the Biology of Streptococcus: I. Antigenic Relationships between Strains of Streptococcus Haemolyticus
This is one of only two papers on streptococci (the other was also published in 1919) in which Avery is listed as a contributor. It marks the start of a long and outstanding career of research on streptococcus by one of Avery's proteges, Rebecca Craighill Lancefield.
