Annotation by Joshua Lederberg:
Keywords: malaria; sickle cell;

I query primate examples of Hb-S. [Where does that stand today]
refers to a grant I am reviewing, likely for NIH

Node: Allison famous for proposition that Hb-S was selected as
offering advantage against malarial infection.
Allison later moved to Syntex, and I did encounter him there. I don't
know what he worked on.
