Annotation by Joshua Lederberg:

Node: Minsky, Marvin. Wife Gertrude is pediatrician. AI research;
Perceptron;P-270;

KW: Minsky; Carroll Williams; micromanipulator; McCarthy hearings;

Minsky visited my lab at Williams' suggestion in June (?) 1955 -- I
was working on P-49, chasing single cell pedigrees, and I recall the
McCarthy hearings on the radio.

He had his own creative ideas about [joystick; mouse] for acquiring
positional information to be translated to the manipulator. "d already
heard of his writings about artificial intelligence. By 1963 I was
trying to recruit him to Stanford.
