Would you allow me to write a few lines, though I have not the honor of meeting you.
I am a Professor of applied microbiology in Univ. of Tokyo and have been engaged in for about 25 years in research works about
fermentation. I am now in a trip around the United States and I intend to visit your University on 1st (Monday) and 2nd (Tuesd)
of Feb. 1954. I wish eagerly to visit you in your laboratory and to talk with you about Bacterial Genetics and other problems,
and to see the equipments and facilities.
I would very appreciate if you would permit my visiting. I already sent the letter to Prof. Peterson and Prof. Johnson of
Department of Biochemistry of your University.
If it is not convenient for you on those days, would you please arrange for me to get the chance to meet any other researchers
in your laboratory.
