Transcript:
Dear Joshua,
I am enclosing a manuscript (finally cleared by the army as not being too much of a security risk) and I would very much appreciate your comments and suggestions before anything further is done with it.
Also enclosed: Photostat of paper by Frisby and Hollis letter from Stuyvesant H.S. (I have no idea how they got my address)
receipt of acknowledgement of cultures [...]
At the moment we have been finding that Vi cultures are quite refractory to PLT-22; there also appears to be some difficulty in preparing high-titered k' (determinant) phage.
Major Morse (Larry Morse's brother) was by for a short visit and sends his regards to Larry.
Regards to all,
Lou
L.S.Baron
P.S. I assume the cultures you picked up were typical.
