Annotation by Joshua Lederberg:
KW: [PCR] DNA replication; gene fractionation by GC/melting point;
Kornberg;

No maize or Drosophila here; try to make up for that with DNA.

Imputed 90-minute DNA replication time was way off mark, probably
enzyme limited.  See P-101.  and at this point we hadn't caught on
to using denature/anneal cycles, the essence of Kary Mullis
discovery of PCR as a practical realization.
