Annotation by Joshua Lederberg:
Keywords:  Ehrlich; trypanosomes; recombination; P-20; Priority1;
  postmature discovery; P-266;

Having read P-20, Browning calls my attention (happily) to his 1908 (sic)
paper from Ehrlich's lab in which he had tested the possibility
of recombination to yield multiple resistance. His results were
negative "... behave as distinct species". Search "Browning" for
subsequent attributions.

His 1908 paper is also attached.
