Annotation by Joshua Lederberg:
KW: Lysenko; ACLU; ##;

It embraces my complaint that ACLU had taken a commendatory stance about the validity
of Lysenko's theories. In response, they withdrew from that. Only
fragments of this interchange are available.

Rear side of letter reads:
"A committee was set up, but its instructions in effect forestalled
that danger. [referring to a committee of the Genetics Society
of America.] With best wishes for the continued progress of
civil liberties,

Your sincerely,

Joshua Lederberg"
