Dear Dr. Lederberg,
A few days ago I was with Dr. Rakieten[?] in his Lab and he gave me to read a letter of yours that thrill me. Was about a transformation by using S. typhi and S. [ . . . ]. I worked in the problem of bacterial transformation in the [...] group for about 10 months with Dr. PR [...] and I had not success. I am very interested to receive more news about your transformation and I should like to hear about here or in my country. I came with a Guggenheim fellowship and I return to my country (Argentina) on January 11th.
I look forward for a reprint or any complementary note about the problem as soon as you think is ready. My address in Argentina is:
Av. Figueroa Alcorta 5950
Buenos Aires
Argentina
Be sure I shall appreciate very much all [ . . . ] that you can give me about the problem.
Thank you very much
Sincerely yours
Osvaldo A. Peso
