Dear Joshua--
Glad to hear that you're safely home again. I've been invited to give a seminar at the Institute of Radiobiology in Chicago on Oct. 13, and have been wondering whether I could possibly fit in a visit to Madison at the same time. I will be flying to Chicago on the 12th (Thursday), and could probably leave there Saturday noon. If I fly west again on Sunday night this should leave time for a brief visit to Madison. Let me know what you think about it.
I haven't had time to do UV expts--or any others, for that matter--since I've been fully occupied in political maneuvering for our crucial Senate meeting next week, advising students and getting the course started. The way I feel now, a quiet job where I spend the day in the lab and never see a student would be just the ticket.
Best wishes,
Roger
