Dear Joshua--
Many thanks for the stunts[?], safely received. I would like also to have lyophilized cultures of the other amino-acid mutants, since demonstration of a clear-cut affect on adaptation may well depend on having a mutant with a specific requirement for an amino-acid not accumulated to any appreciative extent in the free amino-acid pool, about whose constitution in P. fluorescens I don't have any information yet.
I have a copy of Orskon's monograph in Berkeley, and will ask Martha to mail it to you. You're welcome to keep it as long as you like. It wouldn't surprise me if Orskon still has copies.
Best wishes to you both,
Roger
