Paul Weirr tells me that you have agreed to give a lecture to the general biology class on some phase of bacterial genetics
Tues Feb. 13. He will be away and has asked me to introduce you. [ . . . ] I suggest you come to my office (Zoology Bldg Room
33) sometime before the lecture. If you are on the campus before noon--plan to have lunch with me at the club.
Last time you visited us you were kind enough to talk to our genetics club groups. We would like a meeting this time if that
is not asking too much of you. Of course you may not want to return to Madison early that evening. However, if your plans
permit it we would welcome an informal or formal discussion for about an hour--perhaps at 7 pm Feb 13 or later in the evening
if you like. Please let me know if you can do this.
I should like to know by Friday of this week. Feb. 9
