Dear Lederberg
It was a surprise to see these letters when I opened yours! Thanks for the trouble. Hope you got the anti-lambda serum, not as good as I had hoped but I am injecting this rabbit some more; so in a few weeks I hope to have another 50 cc of K approximately equal to 400 to 500. But at K= 150, as the one I sent you it is quite useful.
With you strains so far the results are that they do not multiply the lambda HFTGal+ not as efficiently as C600Gal+ but quite well (Remember : C600 Gal+ multiplies the lambda HFT about 50% while) Gal-1 and Gal-2 give about 10% and 25% resp. of HFT in their burst[?] of about 60 to 80 ph/bact)
Am preparing the Gal-1, Gal-2 and already have the Gal-1 and Gal-2 homogenotes[?] . . .
Will keep you posted after the visit of Morse this week end.
Thanks again
Weigle
