Annotation by Joshua Lederberg:
KW: paternal age; mutations; computer files; Israel; Howard Cann;
  census data;
1. Collaboration on processing data files re paternal age and
accumulation of mutations. [As far as I can surmise, he never did
organize his material or report to me in a wayh that we could pursue the
project. There have been many other such studies. Cf Novitski and
Kimball 1958, AJHG; ; and
HM Cann and Cavalli-Sforza, Am. J. Hum Genetics 1967;

2. Anecdote -- baggage went on to Tel Aviv at outset of 6-day war
when I misconnected at Rome Airport on way from Milan to Tel Aviv.
(Baggage later recovered and delivered to Palo Alto.) I returned to
US prematurely, fitted a new suit at Providence, and went on to
Madison Wis. in time to receive pre-planned honorary degree.
