Annotation by Joshua Lederberg:
Node:  Cann, Howard M.  Research fellow with Len Herzenberg in
Genetics Dept. at Stanford, then worked a year or two with Luca
Cavalli-Sforza at Pavia, probably under auspices of a US-Italy
scientific exchange agreement, returned to Stanford to join Dept.
Pediatrics under Norman Kretchmer.  Eventually emigrated to Paris to
join Dausset laboratory, where he has had a distinguished career.
