Annotation by Joshua Lederberg:
Node: Jack Edman
Jack was one of my closest buddies at Stuyvesant High School.
He started at City College, but was drafted into the US Army, and
served in the Signal Corps in Iceland, then later in France and eastwards.

He subsequently completed his dissertation, and taught English
Literature at the University of Bridgeport. Alas he died quite young
in 1976.
