"Both letters corrections received stop proofs granted extra week and all your alterations allowable don't worry writing
The second letter of mine referred to the content of your letter which had been received by me on Sat. last week. I therefore
hope that the error in title has been corrected.
This is the second time I have troubles with titles. The first happened with the paper: La sessualita nei batteri. In the
proofs the title read: La sensualita nei batteri. This would mean something like the licentiousness of bugs, in Italian.
P.S. I have wired to Hayes, assuming that the proofs will still be in his hands tomorrow morning, "Having been unable
to do it personally please add thanks to yourself on the paper for your invaluable help correction manuscript proofs".
Probably he will not do it, but I should not like to add new burden on the correction of the proofs by asking the printers
to do it. I am sure you agree on it.
