Thought you might be interested in some of the happenings here on the homefront. Guess Laurie has written concerning his
new job, etc.
Already we've been in two locations. First an appartment [sic] and now a house. We have just a small place but thought
we could stay with it for about a year until we can find what we want to buy. Housing is much nicer and much cheaper here
than in Madison. The weather has been very pleasant. It has never been really uncomfortable since we have been here.
I don't know whether Laurie mentioned at the lab that we were expecting in October. Unfortunately, we had another premature
delivery August 1st - this time a boy weighing 2 lb 6 oz. He lived only an hour. I came home from the hospital in 2 days
and have been getting along

fine. We were quite disappointed again.
I'm planning to go to work again in September. Have made an application at the Med. School. Laurie needs help at the
foundation but he hasn't decided yet whether he wants to hire a wife.
Margaret is fine - has lots of new playmates. We expect to send her to a private school this fall.
