" Rene Dubos' sentiments on his thesis of benevolent virus
appeared in an epilogue to a symposium on pathogenic viruses. His
speech was on February 25, 1958 at Rutgers:
1959. Tulipomania and the benevolent virus. In "Perspectives in
Virology," Volume 1, edited by M. Pollard. New York: John Wiley,
pp. 291-299."; the streaks in tulip coloration may be virus-induced;
