Dessein vs. Handman
I feel they run about even in intrinsic merit.
So I would decide in terms of impact of development of the discipline e.g. in geographic terms.
If Dessein plans to go back to France and seed more labs, he should get it.
Otherwise Handman. Harvard will have no trouble finding/funding others.
