Mr. J.S. Lederberg AS V-12 USNR

My dear Mr. Lederberg,
I am sorry your letter of July 3rd was returned instead of forwarded. Evidently some very raw recruit was pinch hitting in
the college P.O. this summer.
There seems to be here in my office no more reprints of the paper on Neurospora which you request. It is quite possible, however,
that Dr. B.O. Dodge at the N.Y. Botanical Gardens has some copies and would send you one -- I have done no further direct
work on the phenomenon of which you speak, since 1936. It is interesting that you have run onto the anomaly again, and I should
appreciate receiving a copy of your report when it appears-- I presume you are acquainted with Dr. Dodge's work on this
(p. 85) in his paper in the Bull. of the Torrey Bot. Club for Feb. 1942?
