Dear Josh,
Would you please take care of the enclosed request? Lillian is not returning to Columbia until September and we do not have the stocks here.
I'm relying upon my memory in assigning mating types to these stocks. I'm not exactly sure what crosses I suggested. I think these stocks will do. If not Miss Dippell will let me know immediately. They're in somewhat of a rush because they plan to run through the experiments before the students do.

Are we right in expecting the Bonner's [sic] this week? The Schraders are here for a few days and look in the best of health. Pontecorvo went fishing with us a few days ago and landed a record 10 lb. striped bass -- the first fish he ever caught in his life.
Tom Nelson and Carl Clark have done very well in their work up here. I think we have two good boys in them. Edith Krugelis arrived recently and seems to be having a good time. All of the news here is of a personal recreational type so Ill [sic] spare you the boredom.
Regards,
Francis.
