It was a treat to have such a good chat with you the other night. I have given some thought to "sick societies", and the model of some resonances between individual psychopathologies, and defects in power and communication structures of the social group; but I could not find anything noteworthy in my own writings.
A propos psychology in history, you may want to see the Winter 1971 issue of Daedalus for a critical perspective. And you may be edified by Peter Burke (on Lucien Febvre), "A new kind of history."
