Dear Josh,
It was good talking to you recently. I'm very glad you called, and I appreciate the information about the possible genetics center at Stanford. Today, I sent off some hand written material dealing with a research program in pre-natal diagnosis. As we agreed, I sent the material to Norman. I have kept one copy of this material which I will bring to Stanford at the end of August.
I also appreciated your comments about Irv Schulman and the Department of Pediatrics. I wrote to Irving last week.
This is my last week in Oxford. Kay, the kids and I are going to Scandinavia before returning to Stanford. I will see you soon. Josh, I do want to be heavily involved in the genetics center program and in the writing of the application. I told this to Norm. Say hello to Marguerite.
Sincerely
Howard
