JL nominated in 1958.
Bob -- Enough time has elapsed I feel I can ask.
Who in the world would have nominated me in 1958? I visualize myself as quite invisible to social science at that time.
If you have any documents to illuminate that further I would appreciate that. (After October 1958, my Nobel Prize was announced and that would distort such an inquiry.)
Perhaps it was Ralph Gerard?
Sincerely,
Joshua
P.S. Can you locate a memo dated July 1970? I'm trying to get a better fix how POSTS got started
