Dear Fess:
This with reference to what I told you yesterday about the new society of British microbiologists. St. John Brooks wrote me as follows from the Lister Institute where he is in charge of the National Collection of Type Cultures:-- "I think you will be interested to hear about the new Society for General Microbiology that we are founding over here and of which I am one of the Secretaries. We hold our Inaugural Meeting on the 16th, and the presidential address will be given by Sir Alexander Fleming. I enclose a copy of the list of Original Members--they comprise people from every branch of microbiology."
When you are finished with the list, won't you let me have it again.
Yours sincerely,
