Dear Vernon --
Re history.
(1) Would you be willing to confide in me who this was?
(2) Have you saved any papers (or memory engrams) that could document the flow of ideas between Rockefeller and Columbia before 1946?
(3) Do you think one could still find Demerec's papers re the planning of the 1946 CSH Symposium?
(4) Are copies of these I of M symposia still in print? Stanford Library doesn't have them!
