Dear Dr. McBeath
I just noticed that O.T. Avery had been housed in 1947.
As I am still collecting documentation on the reception of his work, I wondered if you have the archival files of correspondence, the citation, etc., and if 35 years later they might now be made available.
Here was certainly one case that should be double-starred: by common consensus the Lasker/APHA award was right and the Nobel Committee erred.
Thank you for your help in tracking this material.
If APHA does not have the archives, please advise.
