Description:
Though quite ill by the summer of 1974, Apgar did not retire from her job at the National Foundation, but continued to attend NF events. At an event in June, she and Joan Beck (who co-authored "Is My Baby All Right?" with Apgar) posed with one of the March of Dimes children.
