Nathan Sinai
Has his staff at work on a collection of editorial expressions on the subject of the Wagner Murray Bill md also other forms of socialized medicine and shows me copy of the first collection which is made in mimeograph form about 20 pages. Sinai would propose to make these available to certain teachers in the field public health on request and probably in connection with syllabi which he is preparing for the teaching of medical economics in courses of public health. The purpose of the collations of editorial opinion is to keep the subscribers to the syllabi up-to-date and point of criticism and current sentiment on the plans published or discussed in this field. Sinai asked for personal opinion of the desirability of such effort. I told him I thought the main point to be on the alert about was a danger or temptation for such work to take too much of his time and especially too much of his attention.
Sinai just back from giving some lectures at U. of N. C. on med. economics. I told him of George Bakeman's query as to the speaker at the college of Richmond. He says he is to be there to talk to Dental Assn. on April 3, which information I passed on by letter to Sanger.
Sinai did not mention any increase in connection with renewal of grant but will send me statement in near future on this point.
