Meeting of the Osler Committee at the Faculty Building, Friday afternoon, April 20th, 1917, at five o'clock. Dr. Brush in chair. The Secretary, Dr. Jacobs, reported upon the Osler Testimonial Fund.
After some discussion, it was resolved that the Osler Committee pledges itself, when sufficient additional subscriptions are attained, to present to the Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) in cash or securities, this Fund the income of which shall be used under the direction of the Library Committee for the care and the neat and attractive upkeep of Osler Hall and for the purchase of books for the Faculty Library, these books to be selected upon subjects known to be of particular interest to Dr. Osler.
