Received your letter of the 3rd together with the reprint of Dr. Lille's article.
We have had some delay in our circuit work here primarily because we were trying to design a network which could operate from
a one and a half volt battery. We were able to obtain all of the required delay and waveform properties except that the output
signal was at much too low a level in reference to the energies which Dr. Lille reports are necessary.
Consequently, we have decided not to try for a low power-level circuit at this time, but rather to give you something with
considerable flexibility so that you can determine from your experiments the proper waveform characteristics. Hence, we are
re-designing the circuit to work from a six volt battery and hope that we will be able to "breadboard" the newly designed
circuit at the beginning of next week. If the breadboard tests out successfully, we'll package it in as small a package
as possible and send it to you immediately for evaluation in your laboratory.
