On July 6, I wrote you inquiring about you supplying us with at least two more bladder stimulators. We implanted the first
stimulator today and we have two more patients which we would like to do next week. We believe that we have these patients
in the optimum condition, both from a mental and physical standpoint and we do not wish to keep them waiting too long.
In my letter of June 12, I inquired as to the procurement of a small box testing device to test the function of the stimulator
immediately before it was sterilized for implantation. Dr. Adrian Kantrowitz of Brooklyn informed us that he had received
this box from your company. We would very much like to have this testing device.
I must emphasize that it is very necessary for us to receive the stimulators immediately if we are to continue with our work.
We have one physician completely assigned to this work, carrying out all preliminary studies. We have our ward set aside for
these patients with complete nursing care and we cannot justify our setup with the hiring of extra personnel unless we can
have other stimulators to try out.
