Teal wrote to ask for more research on causes of cancer, especially the magnesium in certain over-the-counter products, which

Thank you very much for your letter of January 19. We have just finished hearings
with the National Cancer Institute and I have discussed your letter with the
Institute Director, Dr. Heller, and he is going to submit additional details
before we act on the Bill for 1960.
