Description:
Norma Heaton was one of about twenty post-doctoral lab technicians and researchers who remained with Nirenberg's team at the National Heart, Blood, and Lung Institute at NIH for as long as forty years. Perola Zaltzman, a Brazilian biochemist, married Marshall in 1961.
