Thank you very much for your help in sailing the boat down to Cape May. We had at least a little decent sailing in spite
of the waves pounding in our faces coming down the coast, and the heavy rains and the sound. My trip up Delaware Bay was
phenomenal with a beam wind the whole distance and favorable tides to the very end. Coming down the Chesapeake, however,
was more like the coast of New Jersey with a head ewind and choppy waves. The trip from the Canal down to Annapolis took
me about fifteen hours.
You were a dependable and, most important, conservative sailing companion, and I will let you know when the boat is being
primed for the Gibralter run.
