In this report, McClintock addressed her findings on a1-m5, derivatives of b2-m2, and her analysis of a1-m2. In it, she seems
to be on the verge of determining that controlling elements act like a "genetic clock," which would be the cornerstone
of her report to the Carnegie Institution in 1964.
