I wish I had to give to you what you asked for. The strains I sent Hershey were purported to be C1S and C2S, but this hasn't
been born out. We've never had the magical C2-R that is supposed to be transformable nor have either Tatum nor I been
able to isolate such. Nor do the strains behave on sucrose in the way Boivin describes. There is a rotten fish somewhere,
but I don't how where. Why don't you try writing him directly; he hasn't answered any of our letters in the past
six months. If you should happen to get the strains we're looking for, I'd be obliged if you would turn your request
